Laura's Update:
Laura's second CT scan shows that the tumor has continued to infiltrate the frontal sinus. The great news is there is the lack of lymph node metastasis! She will have surgery on March 20th to remove her left eye (no longer visual) and debulk the tumor within the orbit. Two weeks of healing follow before she starts a 20-course radiation therapy treatment over four weeks. The cost for the surgery is $800-$1,000, and the cost of radiation therapy is $3,500-$4,000. She's doing great right now… she loves being with Remington and now loves soaking up the sun rays! |
